PAID LEAVE
The systems of paid leave and unemployment due to bad weather apply to the activities of the construction, public works and hydraulics sectors, in accordance with the provisions of Executive Decrees No. 97-48 dated 4 February 1997 and No. 98-212 dated 20 June 1998.
Beneficiaries
Any wage-earning worker who has completed at least 15 days of work for one or several employers affiliated with the National Fund for Paid Leave and Bad Weather Unemployment is entitled to paid leave.
Paid leave entitlements are calculated based on the period of work performed during the reference year, extending from 1 July of the previous year to 30 June of the current year.
Paid leave entitlements become due as of 1 July following the reference year, and remain valid until the acquired rights for that year are fully exhausted.
